From Yahk, head east on Highway #3, cross a bridge, and take the first road on the right. Continue on the most travelled road (Hawkins main)for 18.8 km to the Freeman Creek road junction, and turn right on it. Follow this road for 6.7 km to a junction, and turn right again. Stay on the most travelled road for 3.0 km to the site on the right. Total Distance from the highway is 28.4 km. The road is relatively level but may be rough. A high clearance 2wd vehicle is recommended.

This is a rustic, open, grassy site along the side stream. It is seldom used due to its long distance from the highway, and it can be difficult to find. Fishing Picnic Tent
