Recreation Guide Lines

Camping & Day Use

  • Enjoy your stay up to a maximum of 14 consecutive days
  • Do not build long term structures without permission
  • Return your site to its natural condition before leaving
  • Competitive or commercial use requires permission

Campfires

  • Keep your campfire small and in the fire rings provided
  • Do not light campfires during strong winds
  • Do not cut trees or remove firewood
  • Attend your campfire at all times, extinguish before leaving

Drive Cautiously

  • Roads are often used by visitors as paths and play areas
  • Maximum speed is 20 km/h
  • Do no drive over the vegetation

Parking

  • Park in designated areas
  • Keep roads clear, do not block traffic

Courtesy

  • Respect the peace and quiet of others
  • Keep your noise to a minimum at all times
  • Obey designated quiet time: 11pm to 7am

Pets

  • Keep your pets quiet and under control at all times

Garbage

  • You pack it in, you pack it out
  • Do not litter
  • Do not empty your holding tank

Safety & Hunting

  • Do not discharge firearms, bows, crossbows, or set traps
  • Do not deposit game entrails on the site

Violation of any of the above rules may result in a charge and/or order to vacate by a Designated Forest Official, Designated Environment Official or Peace Officer under the authority of the Forest Practices Code of BC Act, 1995.
