Operator Areas, Kootenay Lake Forest District

 

 

The Allowable Annual Cut for timber in the Kootenay Lake Forest District (Timber Supply Area) is 681,300 cubic meters per year, as determined by the 1994-95 Timber Supply Review process .B.C. Timber Sales has the largest share of this. There are seven forest companies and three communities who hold tenures for the harvesting of Crown timber. There are also 14 Woodlot Licenses.
