Caribou Habitat 

Mountain caribou are a "red-listed" (endangered) species in British Columbia. There are three herds in the Kootenay Lake Forest District. This map shows priority areas for caribou management as developed by the Kootenay-Boundary Land Use Plan Higher Level Plan Order (Variance 04).
