Woodlot Program BC Timber Sales :The BCTS provides opportunities for individuals and firms to purchase Crown timber for their forest industry operations. In 2002 the Small Business Forest Enterprise Program was transformed into the BC Timber Sales. The Kamloops Timber Sales is allocated a total annual cut of about 230,000 cubic meters. The Kamloops Business Area of BC Timber Sales, which geographically encompasses the Kamloops, Cascades, 100 Mile House and Headwaters (portion formerly Clearwater) forest districts. The administrative and management centre for the business area is the Timber Sales Office (TSO) located in Kamloops. There are also field teams in Merritt, Clearwater, 100 Mile House and Kamloops. |
