The Kamloops TSA covers 2.77 million hectares in the southwestern Interior . The TSR sets the Annual Allowable Cut (AAC) for the Timber Supply Area (TSA)- which includes both the southern half of the Headwaters Forest District and Kamloops Forest Districts (Kamloops, Clearwater, Cache Creek, Ashcroft, Chase and Vavenby). UPLIFT 2008: Effective June 1, 2008, the allowable annual cut for the Kamloops TSA has been determined by the Chief Forester at 4,000,000 cubic metres, to help continue the salvage of timber impacted by the Mountain Pine Beetle epidemic.Uplift Announcement/ Rationale.
