In
the Spring of 2010, the licensees who
maintain CSA Certification of their
Sustainable Forest Management Plans in
the Merritt, Lillooet and Kamloops
Timber Supply Areas (TSAs) worked
together, along with Public Advisory
Group members from each TSA, to develop
a single plan that would be more
efficient to work with, while still
maintaining local relevance. The plan
is titled the "Nicola Thompson Fraser
Sustainable Forest Management Plan," and
can be found at the link below. Any
members of the public who are interested
in learning more about forestry and /or
having a say in what is included in the
SFM Plan are encouraged to both explore
this site and contact the Public
Advisory Group facilitator, Pat Salm,
for more information on how to get
involved.
