Wadey Recreation Site

The Wadey Recreation Site is a large and popular site just south of Laforme Creek on Lake Revelstoke.  It is about 25 km north of Revelstoke on Highway 23.  It has 30 sites, a day use area, beach and boat launch and 2 small hiking trails.  It is maintained under an agreement with Wildland Consulting Inc.  A $10.00 camping fee per day ($5.00 for disabled and seniors) will apply from the beginning of May to mid October.

The site was built in the fall and spring of 2006.  The site is named after Pat Wadey.  Pat was a Forester in the Columbia Forest District Office who passed away suddenly.  He is remembered for his passion for stewardship of the forests and his love for community, friends and family.
