 In carrying out duties within the District, our objective is to promote compliance and ensure statutory obligations are enforced.
In meeting this objective, the C&E program supports Ministry goals:
- It supports the goal of Sustainable Forest Resources by upholding B.C.’s laws related to protecting the province’s forest and range resources; and
- It supports the goal of Sustainable Forest Benefits by enforcing revenue polices in a fair and consistent manner, that impact provincial revenues and the return to the public from commercial use of forest resources.
