Transition to FRPA

During the transition period to full implementation of the Forest and Range Practices Act (FRPA), two different Acts will govern forest and range practices in BC:

Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act (FPC)
Forest and Range Practices Act

Which Act to Follow?

If you are operating under an approved Forest Development Plan, you need to follow the requirements in the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act and regulations.

If you are operating under an approved Forest Stewardship Plan, you should follow the requirements in the Forest and Range Practices Act and regulations. Training on these requirments are contained in this website.
