The purpose of Amendment #4 to the 2006-2011 Forest Stewardship Plan is to incorporate the amended ecosystem based management (EBM) objectives. The South Central Coast and Central and North Coast Orders were established March 26, 2009. The amendment applies to all Forest Development Units within the Central and North Coast Ministerial Order boundary (see overview map).

The amendment was approved on September 11, 2009. Any further development taking place by BCTS staff, contractors or licences within the entire business area (which geographically encompasses the North Island-Central Coast Forest District) and portions of the Campbell River Forest District must be carried out in accordance with approved FSP Amendment #4.
