The purpose of Amendment #2 to the 2006-2011
Forest Stewardship Plan is the addition of the
Seymour Forest Development Unit and also to
incorporate ecosystem based management (EBM)
objectives. The Central and North Coast Order
established land use objectives effective January
3, 2008. The amendment applies to all Forest
Development Units within the Central and North
Coast Ministerial Order boundary (see overview
map).
The amendment was approved on February 20, 2009.
Any further development taking place by BCTS
staff, contractors or licences within the entire
business area (which geographically encompasses
the North Island-Central Coast Forest District)
and portions of the Campbell River Forest District
must be carried out in accordance with approved
FSP Amendment #2.
Note: There are no additional maps associated
with this amendment.
