Pursuant to section 8 (2) (b) of the Forest and Range
Practices Act, BC Timber Sales has completed and achieved
approval of the mandatory amendment to its 2006 to 2011
Forest Stewardship Plan for operations in the Okanagan
Timber Supply Area.
The mandatory amendment required BCTS to produce results
and strategies pertinent to the Order of the Minister
of Agriculture and Lands. The Order established Objectives
that are applicable to the area covered by the Okanagan
Shuswap Land and Resource Management Plan (OSLRMP). The
applicable amended parts of the plan are sections 9.00
through section 10.00.
