In accordance with the Forest and Range Practices
Act, the Kootenay Business Area has developed a Forest
Stewardship Plan (FSP) for the operating areas within
the Arrow Boundary Forest District, the Kootenay Lake
Forest District, and the Rocky Mountain Forest District
. The new FSPs will replace the existing Forest Development
Plans.
The FSPs show the location of Forest Development Units
and provide the results and strategies that BC Timber
Sales and agreement holders will follow to achieve the
Government objectives for various forest and resource
values.
