In accordance with the Forest and Range Practices Act, the Strait of Georgia Business Area has developed Forest Stewardship Plans for operating areas within the Sunshine Coast Forest District, the South Island Forest District, and the Campbell River Forest District (Strathcona and Loughborough FSPs). The new FSPs will replace the existing Forest Development Plans.

The FSPs show the location of Forest Development Units and provide the results and strategies that BC Timber Sales and agreement holders will follow to achieve the Government objectives for various forest and resource values.
