This Forest Stewardship Plan (FSP) was approved on March 22, 2010. The FSP covers a
portion of the Clayoquot Sound Land Use Decision Area. The plan was prepared to address
the
Order Establishing Land Use Objectives for Clayoquot Sound. The FSP includes one
Forest Development Units (FDU) that encompasses TFL 54.
The plan includes results and strategies that the FSP holders will follow to address
the objectives set by government and the higher level plan objectives, which includes
watershed plans undertaken by the Clayoquot Sound Technical Planning Committee
and endorsed by the Central Region Chiefs.
The public review and comment period for the FSP ended on May 22, 2009. Written
comments received during the review and comment period were considered, and changes
made where appropriate, prior to the submission of the FSP to the delegated decision
maker for approval.
