This Forest Stewardship Plan (FSP) was approved
on January 8, 2009. It covers 17 small Forest
Development Units located within TFL 44 in the
South Island Forest District. These Forest Development
Units cover portions of Crown Land in the general
geographic areas (Landscape Units) of Effingham,
Henderson, Corrigan, Klanawa, Sarita and Nitinat.
The public review and comment period for the
TFL 44 Forest Stewardship Plan ran from April
28, 2008 to June 30, 2008. The comments
received during the review and comment period
were considered, and changes made, prior to
submission of the FSP to the delegated decision
maker for approval.
