BCTS is an important source of timber for the B.C. forest industry by providing customers with opportunities to purchase timber through open and competitive auction. We work closely with our customers to better understand their needs and we strive to respond to those needs in a manner consistent with our strategic goals. We broadly advertise timber sales opportunities and provide key information to assist customers in bidding on Crown timber. We aim to develop timber sales that support cost-effective operations for our customers.

Our customers are comprised of a wide range of forest sector businesses such as market loggers, wood processors and mills of various sizes, including major licensees.
