Integrating Forest and Range Management

Subject Areas Integrated use of forests
Eighty percent of range in British Columbia occurs on forestland. Of this, transient use of harvested or burnt-over areas can account for up to 75% of the range resource. Successful integration of range practices on regenerating forestland is essential to meet both range and timber supply objectives in the Province.
