The objectives of this project were to determine (1) the effects of nitrogen, phosphorus and sulphur fertilizers on forage production and quality on grassland and clearcut forest sites, and, (2) changes in soil nitrogen status over three years following fertilizer application on grassland and forested sites treated with different rates of nitrogen fertilizer.
