- On September 11, 2006, British Columbia Minister of Forests and Range Coleman notified
federal Minister of International Trade Emerson that British Columbia has
elected the export tax option (Option A) under the agreement since this
option best meets British Columbia's interests and leads to higher
provincial output and employment than the export quota option.
